The Vanishing Tribes of Burma
I painted, sold my work, studied karate every day, and taught English to the kids at the temple in Japan. I plunged into the depths of Burma, now known as Myanmar, looking for gemstones, and came out with something more valuable than blood red rubies; I came back with photographs of Burmese hill tribes, before their culture would irrevocably vanish in the onslaught of modern times. And then I settled in Thailand, to paint, write and take photographs.
My adventures are far from over.
