Description
The girl is reclining in the arms of the seated skeleton. She is pointing upwards with one finger, and downwards with the other. Suspended between life and death, in love with the charming
skeleton who knows only too well, that even beauty must finally submit to death.
This bronze sculpture is 8 kilos and 17 inches tall. It is true bronze being 90% copper. It is called “Just One Last Kiss” and is a detail from one of my paintings called “Dance Myself To Nothing”. “Just One Last Kiss” expresses the conflict between death and beauty. Death romantically cradles beauty enviously looking into her face all the while knowing that in the end even beauty must submit to death
